I've been keeping up with all the breaking news regarding Heath Ledger's death, and for some reason the whole thing really upsets me. He seemed like such a down to earth guy, a great actor, and not to mention an amazing father. Funny thing is none of his movies were ever on my top 10 list, but for whatever reason I've always respected him. He was always believable, so genuine, so real. He had so much going for him.

No one knows how he died yet, but everyone's suspecting he accidentally overdosed on prescription drugs. I can't imagine why he would have done it purposely, especially on the verge of release of "The Dark Knight" (as the infamous Joker), which would have surely boosted his career ten fold. It just doesn't make any sense. Hopefully, there will be some conclusive evidence once the toxicology reports come back.




My heart goes out to his family, friends, and loved ones, especially little Matilda Rose.

I'm bummed.
