Don't eat the cake

See that cake? That's what I want. Or at least, something very similar to that.

I'm completely perturbed by the woman who is supposed to be making our wedding cake. Ben's mother bartered music lessons, which are worth a very pretty penny, in return for 2, 1 of which Charity used, wedding cakes. Nevertheless, the cake lady refuses to make the cake how I want it to be made. First of all, she doesn't want to use fondant. Now, I know fondant doesn't taste great, but it sure does look great. Secondly, she won't make each layer flush with the next. Instead, she wants to use pillars. I don't like the way pillars look. In fact, I loathe pillars. Yes, I've told her this. Thirdly, she doesn't want to use the filling I want. Lastly, she won't be able to deliver the cake to the reception site because she is going on vacation. Instead, she wants to deliver it to Ben's parents house the afternoon before, and have us take it to the reception. Unacceptable.

Ben's Aunt is supposed to be talking to the cake lady, to work something out. I'm not sure what, but something. I personally think she should just give Ben's Mom the money she owes for the music lessons, so we can get a professional to make the cake.

This cake is turning into a disaster. At least we have a really awesome cake topper!
