Rufus Wainwright is releasing his 5th album, Release The Stars, next Tuesday (5/15). Goodness, I'm excited.

His first single is entitled, "Going To A Town". Take a listen here.

There is just something so captivating about his voice. He sings with, what seems like, no effort whatsoever. Beautiful. I was glad to see he has a slew of tour dates coming up. However, the only one that comes anywhere realtively close to me (not very close at all), is on a weekday. Hence, no Rufus for me. Perhaps next time.

A lot of good albums are coming out/have come out recently. The new Bjork, for one. I have to get my hands on that. Ben is excited for the new Arctic Monkeys record, ha! Definitely a guilty pleasure of his.

I still need to find shoes for the wedding, both my own and for Timmy and Irish's, which is next Saturday, oh man. Ben and I also still need to get them a wedding gift and go Mother's Day shopping. Lots to do, lots to figure out, always.
