According to their Myspace profile, "Army of Me is a rock band." However, that doesn't quite paint a clear enough picture of this intriguing DC band. Lead vocalist, Vince, has a distinctive and charming voice, and his writing ability is unrivaled. I've always had a hard time describing their sound, so you may as well listen for yourself.

I spoke with their guitar player, Brad, who shared with me, "We are currently on a nationwide tour with a band called The Damnwells, and we have an EP coming out in November, and the full length record entitled Citizen is coming out in January." Thanks for the info Brad!
