Mario Party 8 is so much fun! Alex and I bought it last night, and played it until I lost because Luigi stole 2 of my stars. Gah! Anyway, it's a wonderfully fun game. Play it.

This weekend is going to be awesome! Surprise, surprise! Frequent flyer miles are lovely.

Wow, I'm a complete idiot, and I feel so horrible.

Up, down, up, down, up, down. That's what my life is like right now. Hey, at least it's not entirely dull!

Mark, Amy, Ben and I played Clue last night, and I won! It was Mr. Green, in the Diner, with the Oven (special Alfred Hitchcock edition)!

Tonight, I am planning to rent buy Mario Party 8 for Wii. It looks AWESOME! I wish Steve, Michelle, and Mike were here to play it with me! Hmph.

It's almost June. Wow. I can't believe time is flying by so quickly. 100 days left.

Ben and I saw Pirates of the Caribbean on Monday. It was very entertaining, and funny. However, I am not fond of Keira Knightley, and the entire film pretty much revovled around her. Therefore, I wasn't too happy about that. Otherwise, it was good, and long, but maybe too long.

Ben and I are designing our wedding cake tonight. Yay! We are still on the fence about whether or not we want a cake topper. I have one in mind if we do go through with it, but Ben isn't sure it will go with the "feel" of our wedding. We'll see what the cake lady says!

We're looking at a few more townhouses next Tuesday. I'm super excited about that. Yup yup!

Mark and Amy's house, plus playing Apples to Apples, plus spilling lots of wine (meh), plus eating chocolate pie and dark chocolate M&M's, equals good times!

I just found out that Ben is going back to Japan for work, from July 26th to the 29th. I'm totally stoked for him, but REALLY jealous. Haha! :]

Things are looking up. Ben and I won $3.00 on last night's Mega Millions drawing, haha!

Sometimes I find it pointless to tell other people what is going on in my relationship, because to truly understand a relationship you must be in it. Hence, it's frustrating talking about it with other people, because you are often misunderstood. However, it's also frustrating not being able to talk about it because sharing is imperative to the human soul.

Yes, this is what I think about sometimes.

I didn't fall asleep until 4:30AM this morning. I was tossing and turning all night. I have a lot on my mind, namely, money. Ben and I are in the process of getting a mortgage, and it's pretty scary.

I wish I didn't have to pay for my own health insurance. I wish I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for my own health insurance.

Ben and I went to Timmy and Irish's wedding on Saturday. It was a lot of fun! They are such a cute couple, and I'm glad I was able to share in their special day. Ben had to run the ceremony music, so I helped him with cues and whatnot. Good times! The more weddings we go to, the more Ben and I want to get married already! I really can't wait to become Mrs. Sonya Parker! Only 109 days to go, hehehe!

Stuck at Prom

Wow, a 500 million dollar treasure was found in the Atlantic Ocean. Read more here. That's intense. Why can't I be that lucky? Wait, maybe because I don't go searching for treasure at the bottom of the ocean? Hmmm. ;]

I forgot my lunch at home today. Argh! I'm kind of mad at myself. Haha!

Hae-jin and I went to Golden Trough, uh I mean Corral, last night for dinner. Yum yum! Good times, and good talks!

After work today, I have to go to the leg doctor (again), to get injections. Joy! I will be very happy when that's all over, and my legs are healthy. Yes sir!

I just wanted to reiterate the fact that I love my engagement ring, and can't wait to be married to Benjamin! Hehehe!

One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is the following;

If you say you are going to do something, then DO IT. Don't wait until I, or someone else, reminds you for the 100th time. It deems you unreliable and shifty, and who wants to deal with that? NO ONE.

It's unacceptable.

I'm so sick and tired of wedding planning.

My friends and family should have just done it for Ben and I from the very beginning, because apparently what we want doesn't matter.

I wish it were September 8th tomorrow. This needs to be over.

Rufus Wainwright is releasing his 5th album, Release The Stars, next Tuesday (5/15). Goodness, I'm excited.

His first single is entitled, "Going To A Town". Take a listen here.

There is just something so captivating about his voice. He sings with, what seems like, no effort whatsoever. Beautiful. I was glad to see he has a slew of tour dates coming up. However, the only one that comes anywhere realtively close to me (not very close at all), is on a weekday. Hence, no Rufus for me. Perhaps next time.

A lot of good albums are coming out/have come out recently. The new Bjork, for one. I have to get my hands on that. Ben is excited for the new Arctic Monkeys record, ha! Definitely a guilty pleasure of his.

I still need to find shoes for the wedding, both my own and for Timmy and Irish's, which is next Saturday, oh man. Ben and I also still need to get them a wedding gift and go Mother's Day shopping. Lots to do, lots to figure out, always.

Last night Ben and I went for dinner and a movie! It was lovely!

We got some sushi, yum yum. Then, we went to the movies to see Spiderman 3. Which, despite popular belief, was a very good movie. Yes, it lacked the action the previous 2 portrayed. Yes, there was more drama/romance in it. However, they are planning on making 3 more, so they have to set up some extensive storyline. There can only be so much flight and foe. Plus, romance is extremely underrated. A-

Right right, other than that, things are going pretty well. I'm trying to figure out if I can make a trip up to NJ before my bridal shower. I'm in need of a dose, but don't feel like driving myself, or spending $300 on a plane ticket. I'll see what I can do, but it probably won't happen. Meh.

Ben's sister, Michal Beth, is moving back to VA today from TX. So, tonight I'll be meeting my soon-to-be baby niece, Savannah! I can't wait to be called Teta Sonya.

I just came back from a very touching funeral service. I didn't know the 64 year old man who died, but Ben did. He was a friends father. And from the number of people who attended the service, to what everyone was saying about him, I could tell he led a full life; A life full of conviction, passion, ministry and love.

I walked away from the celebration of his life, with a little more zest to celebrate my own, as well as the lives of those around me.

I want to be more optimistic. I want to be more patient. I want to be a better person. Yet, I will never be perfect. We, as people, are full of imperfection. Still, I want to try harder. I want to be more concious of my actions. I want to create sunshine... my own, and that which to impart on others.

I want to be full.

I'm seriously homesick, scared, and stressed out.

Other than that, life's grand.

So, apparently Muse and My Chemical Romance also got hit with the heinous food poisoning (salmonella) Ben has been infected with for the passed 4 days. Read more here. Pretty crazy. Ben finally had enough energy, which wasn't very much, for me to take him to see a doctor yesterday. They ran some tests, and gave him some medication, so hopefully he'll be feeling back to his normal lovely self in the next few days.
