Thanksgiving and all that jazz

Oh thanksgiving! I had a wonderfully long and relaxing weekend with my Benjamin, which was long overdue. Thursday, we went over to Nannie's house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious! We brought Eegor with us, and everyone enjoyed playing with him, and boy did he enjoy it too! It was in the 70s, so we stayed outside the majority of the day, and played Frisbee. Good times! Then, Alex puppysat Eegor for the rest of the day, while Ben and I drove down to Nags Head to visit Ben's Grandma and Grandpa. We ate dessert, played Apples to Apples, and had a grand ol' time. I finally met Ben's Aunt Kam, and I'm pretty sure she could beat me up if she wanted too, haha!

The rest of the weekend Ben and I laid low. We went shopping, watched a bunch of movies, and I drank chocolate martini's that were way too strong, but tasted fabulous.

I like my new job. I like the guys (really, all guys) I work with. I'm brining Eegor to work with me tomorrow. I hope he behaves himself!

Speaking of Eegor, Ben and I were laying on the couch (Ben was sleeping) last night, and Eegor managed to squirm his way up there too. He eventually fell asleep on Ben's side. It was so adorable. His face was about 3 inches away from Ben's, and they were both snoring. I layed there, with a splitting headache (from the Martini's), watching Johnny Mnemonic. What a night! And what a bad movie.

Shut eye

I'm not expecting a fabulous Thanksgiving or anything. Really, I'm just looking forward to sleeping in, and the 4 day weekend.

Project Runway tomorrow night. I'm hoping it's better than last week's premiere. I'm not really feeling the cast. Hopefully they grow on me a little.

Matt is burning a cinnamon bark candle at his desk, which is 2 feet away from me. It smells yummy.

There's a pet boutique called "Wet Noses" near my work. I stopped in there this afternoon, and it's super cute. I bought Eegor some all natural cookies. It's funny, the lady who owns the boutique used to live 3 townhouses down from Ben and I (before we lived there). What a small world!

Oh, and apparently a team of scientists have found a way to transform skin into stem cells for stem cell research. I'm all about this.

Photos + fun

Ben and I got our professional wedding pictures back last week! We now have to pick out which ones we want in the photo album, as well as 10 8x10's (definitely the one to the left)! I'm really happy with the way they turned out!

My Mom is flying into Norfolk tonight, to visit for the weekend. I'm so excited! My Mom, Ben, and I are planning on going out to dinner tonight. I'm not sure where we are going to go, but I'm hoping they both will be down for some Thai at Bangkok Garden. Ben will be out town until early early Monday morning, so my Mom and I will have some good ol', much needed, mother daughter time. Yay! Plus, she gets to meet little Eegor!

It was Ben's Nannie's (grandmother) Birthday yesterday. So, the family threw her a party last night. It was a good time. I hadn't seen a lot of Ben's family since our wedding, so it was definitely nice seeing everyone.

Alrighty, work time. Ta ta!

Tiny dog walking on my desk at work, ha!

Good grief!

Look at his bald belly! Hahaha! Oh man, I love him.
I wonder if he knows just how cute he really is.

Nothing really

It's Sunday. If I could have stayed in bed all day, I would have. At least I've been productive this morning. I made banana bread out of some grossly ripe bananas, did 3 loads of laundry, and cleaned the house.

Ben has been in DC since Friday morning. He comes home tonight/tomorrow morning. I miss him when he's not around, and so does little Eegor. I put him on speaker phone and Eegor started licking the phone and doing the dog head turn, multiple times, which was completely adorable.

Hae-jin and I went to Target last night and bought the card game, Phase 10. I won! Great game.

I'm watching reruns of Project Runway. Man, I love this show. The new season starts this Wednesday. I'm so stoked!

And this post has gone nowhere, haha. Bye!

wink

No time to write, no time to do much. No time!

Just so you know, I'm doing very well.
